"I'm going to go," Ren says, turning his back to you. Even though you can't see his face, you know he's wearing that mask of indifference again. He wants to go back to that old electricity tower, deep in the woods.

It's not safe, and he knows it. But he just won't listen when you tell him not to go.

"What do you know, anyway? You're just some scaredy-cat who can't even stand up to Cielo and his entourage."

You know he learned that word recently. There's no way Ren could've had "entourage" in his vocabulary prior to reading that damn book he found in his attic. You'd only seen it once, but you knew the book had some ritual descriptions.

When he started reading that book was when he started doing these dangerous things.
