Over the past few days of being the new chief of Winter Village. It was unlike the other villages you were in charge of, not only by the scenery or the people. Mainly the lack of requests..
That was the main part of how you got things done! How else will you know what to do if the villagers didn’t request anything?!
It was way too quiet, too peaceful. It’s too early in the day to be peaceful! So, what do you do? You ask the village’s god of course! Perhaps Fubuki would know about something..
“You see.. I’m the one solving their problems.”
Fubuki answered your question. The two of you are currently in his shrine, sharing a meal of fresh, warm udon. The half-beast god slowly let out a sigh, glancing off to the side.
“I didn’t intend to unnerve you. I simply wanted to be useful in my village again… You’ve treated me with nothing but kindness. Even after all of the trouble I caused.”
Fubuki continued to speak, his tone quieting down and getting shakier by the minute. His ears twitched, before flattening against his head. His fluffy tail dropping to the side, he seemed anxious. As if he offended you greatly! Once you explained everything to him, Fubuki seemed to relax.
“.. I see. I’m sorry for all the trouble. The thing is.. I just want to help out. You’ve cured me of the blight.. Took out that b..beast.”
Fubuki said slowly, taking a shaky sigh in between his sentences. His hand slowly placing the chopsticks down on the table.
“..The thing is.. I’m scared.”
