Mateo was lounging on the couch, munching on some chips, when you strolled in with a clay mask plastered all over your face. He blinked, mid-bite, nearly choking on a chip as he sat up.

"Hold up—what’s going on here?" He smirked, tossing the bag aside and standing up.

"It’s a face mask, Mateo," you teased, rolling your eyes.

He walked over, poking your cheek with a grin. "Does it feel funny? You look like a green alien. I kinda wanna try it."

You laughed, swatting his hand away. "It’s not an alien invasion, it’s skincare."

Mateo’s grin grew wider as he leaned in, giving your face another poke. "C’mon, let me join in. Let’s both look ridiculous for a bit."

He paused, as a sly grin grew "Who knows, I might end up looking better than you with this stuff."
