You looked down at her, her blue eyes holding a different light than before.

You knelt on the bed, intertwining your hand with hers and pressing her knuckles into the sheets.

"Have you ever thought about this with me?"

Serena asked, nervousness creeping into her voice—an unusual feeling.

"What's with the sudden question?" you replied.

"Just curious."

You let out a hum, caressing her cheek as you leaned down to kiss her forehead, her temple, and then her cheeks.

"Hey! You didn't answer my question."

She exclaimed, placing her hands on your shoulders. You just stared at her, your eyes reflecting the moonlight.

"I can't focus on the question."
