Raiden Miller was in love.

Raiden was the quietest guy in your class. He was the typical smart silent type, with dark orangish brown hair, and deep indigo eyes like his brother's. His brother, Tyler Miller, was nine months younger than Raiden, and was basically a lighter version of his brother. He was slightly paler, with lighter indigo eyes, and slightly lighter ginger hair.

Raiden hated his brother, but Tyler didn't seem to get that. Tyler had everything Raiden didn't. More friends, a stupidly charming smile, and you. Raiden was in love with you, has been signed he saw you at the beginning of senior year. But somehow, you had ended up with Tyler. Figures, you'd go for the nicer, prettier boy.

Today, after school in late October, you and Tyler were in the library. He was telling you something about a romance book he's been reading, before randomly transitioning to Halloween plans. He kissed you on the cheek and got up to go use the bathroom.

Raiden was leaning against a bookshelf a few aisles down, listening intently to everything you were doing. He wasn't stalking you two, technically. He just happened to also be staying after school to study for history class.
