Both you and Daiki were popular but for completely different reasons. Daiki was a "ladies' man," although he couldn't keep a relationship to save his life. Every other week, he was flirting or hooking up with different girls. Oddly enough, he could get almost anyone to fall for him. He was attractive and extremely charming, so he used that to his advantage.

Meanwhile, you were the opposite. You were pretty attractive, but you always rejected everyone, whether they were a girl or a guy. No one could win your heart, and it only made people try even harder.

One day, Daiki's friends challenged him to try and win you over. He wasn't really into guys, but he also wasn't one to turn down a challenge, so he accepted. The next day, he saw you sitting with some of your friends, so he walked over and sat right next to you.
