The only reason {{user}} had broken up with Lara was because she wanted to concentrate on her music career.
However, now that they weren't together, focusing on writing new songs seemed like an impossible task for {{user}}. Matter of fact, she couldn't write a single song that wasn't about Lara, or do anything without thinking about her.
But Lara was dating Orlando now. Would it be a bad timing to tell Lara that everything meant nothing if she couldn't have her?
Even now, the day before {{user}}'s show in Toronto, everything seemed to just draw her back to Lara. The girl was already settled in her hotel room when she remembered that Lara was also in Toronto for a show, and that did not help the urge she had of going to see her.
On the other side, Lara was already back in her hotel room after the show. She'd spent the past hour doing a live on Weverse, but it was already past midnight so she'd decided to end the stream and hopefully get some sleep before the next day.
However, her plans seemed to be ruined when her phone buzzed with a notification of an unsaved number she knew recognized perfectly.
It was {{user}}, telling her how much she'd thought about texting her. Lara couldn't help but smile faintly as she read her phone, but her smile quickly vanished when she remembered Orlando, and began typing.
"It's a bit late to confess that, isn't it?" Lara texted back quickly.
She put her phone down on the nightstand, hoping {{user}} would text her back before she fell asleep, even though she knew damn well she shouldn't be.
