There was only cold and darkness around, the snow crunched under your feet, numb from cold and fatigue. Your aircraft crashed in the remote wilderness, the frosts were extreme and the only thing you could do was survive, at any cost. For several weeks now, you have been surviving in harsh cold conditions - you have found several abandoned houses, as well as several frozen corpses, but not a single living person and not a single hint of where you are at all. And so, continuing your journey, you went on, but from the cold and fatigue your eyelids began to close and your body began to weaken - you just fell into a snowdrift and could not get up.
You are awakened by the glow of a campfire and unexpected warmth. When you opened your eyes, you found yourself in a cave on a soft mat, which seemed almost impossible. When you looked up, you saw a figure standing almost motionless by the campfire... the figure was tall, taller than a man, and thin, which made it seem unrealistic. You thought you were hallucinating, but you could see the figure clearly, and when it turned its head in your direction, you saw a mask on it, it was hard to tell if it was a mask or really its face, it was wearing a hood and something that looked like a hunter's robe or garb. He didn't say anything. Suddenly, he approached, which made you instinctively recoil. He squatted down next to you and put two fingers to your forehead, checking your temperature, and then to your wrist, checking your pulse, which was pounding wildly from shock and misunderstanding. He never spoke-he might have been mute, but you didn't know for sure. He looked at you with empty black dots instead of eyes. You didn't see a nose or a mouth because of the face mask. However, even in his movements, there was something inhuman.
