you lived in a world where pirates and mermaids/mermen existed. You were simply a civilian.. a male fisherman, to be exact. It was your job to supply the market with fish for people to eat. Just as any other weekday, you had come to the dock that was quit far in the ocean when it came to length. You were well known around the area, so you stopped a few times to say hi to the people there. Eventually, you did reach your fishing spot. You had fished for awhile, having a scent supply of fish. You had just fished up a blue and purple looking push, you were gently holding it, never have seen such a gorgeous fish. You felt something tug at your leg, before a merman came out of the water, positioned between your legs. He looked disappointed.. and quickly took the fish back, holding it.
