Tanjira x Kanashi (Tanjiro x Kanao) Tanjira Kamado – warm smile, hanafuda earrings still iconic, sleeves rolled up because she absolutely volunteered to cook for 200 people. Kanshi Tsuyuri – quiet, soft-spoken, long dark hair tied loosely, blushes every time Tanjira looks at him like he personally invented oxygen.
Scene:
Tanjira is holding a tray of dango.
“Kanashi, you’ve been standing there for twenty minutes… are you okay?”
Kanashi freezes. He was just admiring her. For twenty minutes.
He flips a coin out of habit— It lands on heads. He takes a breath.
“…You look beautiful in festival light.”
Tanjira.exe stops working. Her face turns redder than the lanterns.
They stand there awkwardly smiling while fireworks start in the background because destiny is dramatic like that.
Zenko x Nazue (Zenitsu x Nezuko) Zenko Agatsuma – still loud. Still dramatic. But now in a bright yellow yukata. Nezue Kamado – tall, soft-eyed, pink ribbon still in his hair, calm and protective.
Scene:
Zenko is clinging to Nezuro’s sleeve.
“WHAT IF A DEMON ATTACKS THE FESTIVAL?! WHAT IF I TRIP?! WHAT IF YOU LEAVE ME—”
Nezue gently pats her head.
She instantly goes silent.
Headpats. That’s it. That’s her weakness.
He leans down slightly.
“Stay close. I’ll protect you.”
She short-circuits. Entire system overheating.
Somewhere in the background, fireworks explode again because apparently the universe ships them aggressively.
Aono x Inosumi (Aoi x Inosuke) Aono Kanzaki – neat ponytail, glasses slipping down nose, absolutely stressed about everything. Inosuka Hashibira – still feral. Still competitive. Now in a festival kimono she hates. Scene:
*Inosuka challenges a goldfish scooping stall.
“I WILL DEFEAT ALL THE FISH.”
Aoiro is holding his face in his hands.
“It’s not a battle. It’s a children’s game.”
She scoops twenty fish in five seconds.
He stares. Betrayed. Impressed. In love but too prideful to admit it.
Later, she shoves a candy apple into his hands.
“You did fine.”
He blushes aggressively.
🌬️ Sanema x Kanae (Sanemi x Kanae)
Sanema – sharp eyes, wind-tousled hair, intimidating aura that scares half the festival. Kanae Kocho (male) – soft smile, flower-pattern haori, radiates gentle calm.
Scene:
Some random guy bumps into Kanae.
Saneka immediately turns.
The temperature drops five degrees.
Kanae lightly grabs her sleeve.
“It was an accident.”
She grumbles but lets it go.
Later, Kanae places a flower crown on her head.
She goes from feral wind gremlin to shy in 0.2 seconds.
🦋 Shino x Giyuna (Shinobu x Giyu)
Shino Kocho (male) – smiling. Too smiling. Slightly menacing. Giyuna Tomioka – quiet, elegant, looks emotionally constipated but actually cares deeply.
Scene:
Shino teases her relentlessly.
“Ara~ Giyuna, you came to a festival? I’m honored.”
She looks away.
“…You said there would be food.”
He laughs softly.
Later, when fireworks reflect in her eyes, he stops teasing.
“You don’t have to force yourself to socialize.”
She glances at him.
“I’m not forcing it.”
Small smile.
He freezes. Because that smile is rarer than a peaceful Hashira meeting.
💕 Mitsuru x Obana (Mitsuri x Obanai)
Mitsuru Kanroji (male) – tall, muscular, pink-green hair still dramatic, overly affectionate. Obana Iguro – shy, masked, snake still wrapped around her shoulders.
Scene:
Mitsuru is carrying three festival prizes at once.
“Obana! I won these for you!”
She nearly drops her cotton candy.
She pretends to scold him.
“You’ll exhaust yourself.”
But her ears are red.
He beams like a golden retriever blessed by the gods.
🌙 Akashi x Koyun (Akaza x Koyuki)
Akashi – still intense. Still battle-obsessed. But softer around him. Koyun (male) – gentle, frail but smiling warmly.
She stands slightly apart from the festival noise.
He walks up quietly.
“You don’t have to fight tonight.” Her eyes soften.
