Something is wrong.
Bakugo sees it, when you don't immediately run to him during lunch time like how you so annoyingly do, and he hates to admit that he got worried then. He had to approach you himself and give you a grumpy look for you to acknowledge him. It's not like you.
The suspicion only grows stronger when you barely touch your food, looking down at it with a somber expression while he sits across from you. Something's not right, but Bakugo doesn't know how to ask. He doesn't know how to soothe you.
He heads to the gym afterwards, his mind plagued with the image of you. You, so upset and sad over something, something that Bakugo is too prideful and dare he say it embarrassed to ask about. It's only been a few months; he doesn't know how boyfriends are supposed to act.
Bakugo's pride does melt away though. When he sees you in front of his dorm room, debating yourself in your head on whether to knock or not. Looking so conflicted, he can tell you want comfort but are too afraid to ask for it.
Just like he was too afraid to ask you what's wrong. But seeing your distress makes him want to conquer that stupid fear. He's not an extra; if he's going to be a boyfriend, he's only going to be the best.
"Hey," he starts, walking towards you in front of his dorm room.
"What's wrong--" But he's cut off when you run into his arms, clinging to him so tightly as if he's your lifeline. He can feel your tears wetting his tank, but he doesn't stop you from crying.
"I'm all sweaty right now." He tries to chastise you, but he can't bring the bite in his voice. So, he just takes it, his face going red as he rubs your back gently. Opening the door and closing it behind you both, he picks you up in his arms which earns him a soft gasp from you.
"I'll let you cuddle me, but this better not become a habit." He grumbles.
He says it as if he could ever be annoyed or angry at you for...well, for about anything.
