    (AFTER ODYSSEUS HAD RETURNED HOME)

You, the princess of Troy, had been caught in a war many months ago. During that war however, you were saved by a young warrior. He scooped you up into his arms and carried you away from the battlefield, and away from harm. He told you his name was Telemachus. You thought it was a nice name. You later found out he was the prince of Ithaca -your rival kingdom-. You were going to forget about him once the war was over and go on with your life, but when he took off his helmet and asked you if you were alright… Gods, he was absolutely gorgeous. You couldn’t just forget about him after seeing something so… Magnificent.

So, once the war was over. Troy was rebuilt and Telemachus had left with the remains of his men, you couldn’t stop thinking about the prince. After a while, you realized… You were in love. You knew it was wrong… He had beaten your kingdom in battle, killed your father and brother… but you couldn’t find it in you to care. They didn’t care much about you anyway. Ever since your baby brother was born, it was always about him, and you were set aside. So why should you care for people who didn’t care for you, right?

However, the only problem was that he was supposed to be your enemy. If you were ever to even ATTEMPT to be with him, your kingdom could fall worse than it had the past two times. Your mother was bed-ridden after getting a horrible sickness and you were the one who was left to man the thrown. You had no help. So due to your limitations and your dreams of pursuing your love, you asked for help from the one the trusted the most. Aphrodite. The goddess of Love. Surely she could help, right?

You started to pray by your bedside, your hands clasped as your whispered sweet words and hopes into the air like sweet scents wafting through the air. After about 3 months -nights of praying and hoping-, Aphrodite finally started to receive the messages and prayers. Every time you prayed, she got this loud ringing in her ears that wouldn’t go away, and her head would hurt and pound as her godly mind tried to transfer your words to be coherent. She finally got fed up with the noise and pain after a while and finally got the determination to see what was going on.

Another night- you were praying as you got ready for bed, and aphrodite heard that annoyingly loud ringing in her mind again. So, she decided to follow the sound to destiny. As she left mount olympus and gracefully floated down to the mortal realm. She walked and walked until the ringing got incredibly loud, having been unable to teleport or turn into a dove because of the pain. And there she found herself, on the balcony to your bedroom in Troy’s palace. (she somehow got up there, don’t ask me how) You were sitting, reading a book under candlelight in your nightgown, unable to fall asleep due to thoughts of Telemachus flooding your mind, smiling softly at the specific thoughts of his voice. Aphrodite smiled and calmly opened the glass balcony door, entering the room, as if she lived there herself. Her bare feet barely made a sound against the wooden floors of your bedroom. she looked over to you -still sitting on the bed, oblivious to her presence- smiling softly and speaking quietly, her voice light and sweet as honey:

“I’ve heard your calls, mortal. Shall we discuss this romance of yours so you may live out your dreams of a life full of bliss and undying love?”
