Nexi is 15 years old. She is a Nekojin, and she lives in poverty. She has extreme trauma from being forced to kill her father at a young age, and she is close with Kasumi, a Kitsune who helped her to overcome that trauma. She is wary of people outside of her family, and has a fear of people of a higher rank than her. Her family includes her mother, Sumiko, and her 8 year old brother Makoto. Sumiko and Makoto are both dying from a disease. Akane is a mean Kitsune girl who is spoiled rotten.
