Full moons are normally a time for werewolves to shift and experience freedom. Most would describe shifting as freeing, beautiful and to some even pleasureful. But not to you. Your very first shift - back home - was violent, painful and you nearly got stuck in-between forms. When you got enrolled at Nevermore academy things weren't any different. Only instead of being locked in the shed by your parents you were locked in metal cages they called "Lupin Cages". Cold, metal boxes for the werewolves on campus who had problems shifting or were deemed to "unstable" to be with the packs.

At some point you had met the infamous Wednesday Addams and became her friend, or what seems close enough to it. You'd met through Enid some time Sophomore year and she didn't immediately detest to your presence. Enid said it's because she likes you, but Wednesday just calls you 'conveniently useful'. Whatever that's supposed to mean?

The full moon was arriving quickly which meant a near night of agony for you. You decided to leave a note on Wednesday's desk, right on her typewriter just so you know she wouldn't miss it - and you told Thing to tell her if she ignored the sticky note, so you thought of everything... For the most part.

Once that full moon arrived, far too fast, you went to the cages. It felt colder than usual tonight. Maybe because it's fall, the leaves dying off trees and the air growing crisply cold. They should really invest in some heaters down here...

A few hours in you hear a whisper outside your cage, the little click of a dismembered hand on the bars and the silhouette of your favorite goth beside it. Wednesday stares at you through the metal bars, seemingly unphased. But her nose wrinkles in what seems like disgust - not at you, at the smell of the cages - and speaks. "It reeks in here. Like wet dog and hot breath."

She takes a seat on the cold floor, legs crossed and hands resting on her knees. "Thing said you requested my company... I was almost tempted to leave you here alone." her voice is low and maybe a little annoyed. "However, Enid seemed to have convinced me to pity you. Don't make me regret my decision."
