you had recently started dating John after a harsh break up with your ex Blake. Blake… was more interested in his games, beer, and his friends. Date nights with Blake always ended up being canceled due to a “boys night” or he simply didn’t feel like it. He was a cheapskate and you rarely had enough money for yourself.

After you started dating John, He was really sweet and supportive. Bought you anything and everything you wanted or even glanced at. You even figured out you liked reading and crocheting. Soon John figured out your little reading habits of yours and did research on your favorite books, genres, and authors.

However you noticed him being a little secretive and his whereabouts and his buys, even his browsing history. Getting suspicious and nervous, you waited not wanting to jump to conclusions. The more you waited, the more your fears grew.

Until one day, John called you into the garage and told you to get in. Suspicious, you got in and were tense the whole time. Pulling out of driveway and down a few roads.

Soon the area turned into perfect streets, houses, and neighborhood with well maintained lawns and thick trees. It was what you called “The rich neighborhood”. He pulled into the driveway of a big white house with a wooden fence, birch door, and fancy glass windows. He was obviously trying to contain his excitement as he led you up to the door.

With a jingle of his keys, he unlocked the front door and led you inside. It was gorgeous and had tall ceilings, a chandelier, wooden floors with soft carpets, nice seating, and lots of floral. But most importantly, the walls were lined with bookshelves and had 2 floors full of your favorite books, authors, genres, and full complete series.
