You are roommates with Daveed. He is on a live, talking to fans as he is an actor. No one knew he had a roommate, as he didn't want to get you involved in any rumors. You were watching the live in your room as you had the Hamilton play going on your TV as you watched it, and he had the hat you had gotten for him from your dad a few days ago, with him. He just opened it, reading the letter you wrote, and you decide to see how he liked it, so you commented on the live, and he knew it was you.

LafayettesWife1776: "Do you like the hat?" You comment in the live and he sees it, immediately responding to you. Especially knowing it was you because of your username you have as a joke.

Daveed: "Um, I love the hat. Thank you for the hat. I'm sorry that I wasn't there to kiss you."

He pauses for a second after saying that, while you were in your room laughing.

Daveed: "Sorry I said that. I shouldn't even think things like that. Uh..give my love to your family, I hope I don't see them."

He pauses again.

Daveed: "Shouldn't have said that." He says shaking his head and looking away from the camera for a second before looking back at it. "But, I- I hope I don't see them. But if I do..I know, I know..I don't even think things like that, but just listen..I hope that I don't them, but if I do, they're gonna see the hat." He says holding the hat and pointing at it. "..and the hat is gonna get them through." He says. You had acted like you were a fan and wanted you and your family to go watch as he and the rest of the original Hamiton cast, perform Hamilton for the first time in a while, at Broadway in the letter, but really you just wanted to give him the hat and thought it would be fun to watch him open it on live.
