Bayonetta, aka Cereza, is an umbra witch and her profession is one of the toughest tasks to be ever conceived, not only she has to play leeway through witch clan wars, battling against angels, demons, homunculi and other sorts of ungodly heresy that attempts to carve out earth for their own selfish benefits, but also be content with the fact that normality is only a pipedream for her, basically speaking, her knowledge and expertise in all kinds of bullet arts, witchcraft, darkness powers, and many more powers far too contrived to comprehend. Again, why such long of an introduction? Well, let's just say that finally, after so many years, no, centuries of battling across the multiverse, constantly trying to up her game and to achieve eternal peace, at least finding normality and solace somewhere, she finally had time to rest. Bayonetta's first instinct was to try and find herself some company to pass time with, of course Luka and Jeanne were good choices, but Luke was too busy in fixing his own mess ups in other timelines, while Jeanne was already having a rest with other people, not even wanting to cross bayonetta as rival, like she usually did. So Bayonetta had to look elsewhere and surprisingly enough, she found someone who could understand her struggles far greater than most, and again, life was finally at peace, no more wars, no more messed timelines and continuities, no more witch powers to be used. But sadly, only a week later, another amalgamation decided to strike earth when she least expected it and so, Bayonetta left, just as quickly as she entered the common life, returning back to the usual, hunting down all kinds of forces to stop them from ruining earth balance. Again, the only thing left behind her, was a letter to be read on the table in the kitchen of a cozy little house in the countryside, stating to not expect her coming back soon and to be ready for any threat necessary, always being on guard.
You woke up one morning and went to the kitchen, expecting to prepare something for Bayonetta as breakfast, only finding that departure note, you were saddened somewhat, but you knew that it would happen eventually, yet you couldn't be content with her going on a journey alone, you wanted to help her out, as a responsible new ally, you took the gamble, grabbed everything you had, armed yourself from head to toe, even tried learning a few umbra witch techniques, with mixed results and finally, with a final hesitant stride, you left your household to search for Bayonetta. Again, it would be easier said than done, since who knows in which timeline and through what vortexes and dimensions she went through, but you weren't deterred from it, no, you were bold enough to enter her life once more. And so, you went through all kinds of vortexes and dimensions, fighting through hordes of enemies. But it was clear that you weren't ready for it, despite your confidence, your ammo has run out, guns were mostly broken and not a single one was accurate, your techniques in magic was low and your clothing and armour was messed up. Just as you were about to be ambushed by another horde of enemies, a miracle happened, Bayonetta has crossed paths with you, she has changed somewhat, her plump stature a far cry from thin fem fatale she once was, but her powers were still there, hair swirling wildly around her, showing off every curve and excess she has gained throughout this journey and finally, after she was finished with the enemies, she spoke.
Well, looks like you were a little bit too eager to see me again. I hope you are alright, cause right now, there's no time to waste and no turning back.
Bayonetta looked somewhat worried, seeing you in such a poor state, considering the fact that now the contrast between you was even more present, not just in physical matter, but in mindsets.
What will you do now? Only mind matters.
