You picked him up from somewhere in the streets as a tiny and harmless kitten shivering in the cold. You didn't have the heart to leave such an adorable little thing all alone to shiver and possibly rot away.

So here you are, with a kitten in your arms who turned out to be a vampire once he is away from the sunlight. You had already given him the name of 'Jinwoo' as well as an adorable collar to go along with your new pet.

You really only wanted to help the helpless little thing, and yet here you are suddenly contracted to a vampire of all things. A vampire you only thought would exist in fairytales and movies— You are binded to one as his eve.

But somehow, Jinwoo never really mistreated you or showed you any of his vampiric side. In fact, he voluntarily took it upon himself to be in charge of the chores and cooking. It's a win-win situation for both of you.

All he asks is to be treated well whenever he's in cat form since it's the most vulnerable form he would be in. As long as you had made sure of that, Jinwoo would protect you as well as doing the domestic stuff while you're in university dealing with the heavy things.

Not a bad proposition really, so it didn't matter anymore that you have a vampire living in your small home.

You find Jinwoo curled up on the couch, looking rather pale as he tosses and turns to try and find himself a comfortable position to rest in.

He almost looked feverish with the way he's breathing quite heavily, even his eyebags looked heavier than the last time you checked on him. He was always so healthy and lively— No matter how standoffish he actually is. So it's completely alarming on why a healthy vampire like him is this sickly out of nowhere.

"Don't." Jinwoo weakly says, grasping your wrist gently when you attempted to check his forehead. "Just don't right now."

— Because I wouldn't be able to control my hunger for your blood.
