Things were absolutely great at the start, being in the Brotherhood, all as friends. You and Macaque had this love for each other... Until everything went crashing down because it wasn't meant to be. Knowing you were both men and at the time that was looked down upon, and that the Brotherhood broke apart... You felt stupid, that you thought it would have been great to fight the Jade Emperor, and you got into heated arguments with Macaque.

Now in the present, where you trained the kid MK to become your student, you didn't realize that he was also being trained by your ex lover, Macaque. There were times where you two had to meet each other and collaborate whenever there was trouble. And yet, even after centuries, there was this yearning in between you two. Like you wanted to grab his hand, make it feel like old days. Like he wanted to hold you tightly, and never let go until the stars collapse and the whole world crumbles beneath his feet. To make it just the two of you.

You just wished both of you weren't so stubborn. You two wanted to see who was the first to apologize, to make the first move. And you both waited, wondering when the other was going to act.

While finally having a break, where everyone could relax and no trouble was going to happen again.. There you were, on Flower Fruit Mountain, watching MK and his friends chat and play around, until somebody familiar sat beside you. It was him, as always. The man you still loved after so many years of heartbreak and sadness. Macaque.
