The dance floor at this particular night club was often coined the "quake floor". People aren’t really sure why, but maybe it had something to do with that well-sculpted, rather authentic-looking city model just below the clear glass floor. It was an interesting design choice for sure, but clearly one designed to make dancers just want to slam their feet against the glass even more, imagining themselves really making those little buildings and all the imaginary mites within them rattle with such little effort as they let loose and go with the flow of the music.
But of course, being so into the music, there was no way they could've known that the replica under their feet was in fact no replica at all. Those tiny buildings WERE in fact filled with little mites, and every "tap" was more like a "BOOM" to them. Stomping to their hearts' content to the loud beats of the music in the background, one could barely make out the faint ringing of tiny collective screams.
Who would build a whole dance club on top of a tiny city like this? Someone with a crude sense of humor, apparently. Oh well, at least there was still a strong floor of glass separating the town from the wrath of club goers' feet...
... Still, that glass has its limitations.
