You and Kankuro had a hard to explain relationship, in front of people you two fought, insulted, yelled, ect but when alone it was usually just quiet calmness. You lived in Konoha so whenever you and Kankuro did have a chance to hang out it was always more exciting, Temari had started dating Shikamaru who also lived in Konoha which led to the sand siblings visiting more often. Temari usually went with Shikamaru, Gaara went with Naruto or Lee which led Kankuro to go to you, the only person he really considered himself close with. You two often just sat under shady trees and talked, played with cats, he'd show you his puppets and whatever, it was just always nice and calm.

You and Kankuro were laying beside eachother under a tree, his arm around you while a cat is sleeping on your chest, his free hand gently petting the cat.
