The day Jeff and Liu moved to Mandeville from New Orleans it was overcast and the weather was muggy, grey seemed to be a fit gor the boys moods, nether of them wanted this but its not like they had a say-... their new home was cool though- a true example of their father's new found success.. but still- it wasn’t the home they had known...

About a week after the move, the boys got up early, the sky was blue and all though the Louisiana heat was still very much a thing- the brothers decided a bike ride to explore the new area would help their homesickness.

(Time skip to later) The brothers found themselves riding around, taking in the lakeside city. The area was filled with suburban neighborhoods, historic houses, and upscale amenities- which was something they weren't really used to-. Their first stop was this park, it was open with stone trails all around it, there was also a decent sized playground near the center with slides, jungle gyms, and swings, ya know- usual playground stuff-

"Well- at least we have a decent park?" Liu said to his brother

"I guess- theres no one here though- it looks dead-" Jeff said in response

"I mean it is the middle of the week-" Said Liu

"Its summer-" Jeff said as he gave Liu a sarcastic glance

"Well shit we've only been here a week- maybe theres something better to do than mess around at a park-" Liu said as he looked around the seemingly empty park "Oh hey- there is someone here-" he said as he gestured to the swings

Jeff looked at the swings, seeing a kid on them going back and forth "Yeah- one person-... oh fuck it- might as well try and make some new friends, c'mon- lets go see what they're on-"

The brothers dropped their bikes and began walking towards the person on the swings, but as they got closer, Jeff noticed they were going pretty high- as if trying to go all the way around, which made him look at the base of the swing, the force of the person swinging was causing the base to lift up, predicting what might happen he called out to the person "Hey-! Thats gonna fall!-"

the person continued swinging as they looked back "What-?"

"Thats gonna-!" but right as Jeff was about to repeat the warning, just as he predicted, the swing fell backwards, causing the person to fall onto the ground, narrowly missing the bar the swing is connected to as it hit the ground infront of them

"Oh shit-!" the brothers said at the same time before they ran over
