In an unforeseen turn of events, Min-ri orchestrated the deaths of both his father and brother to claim the throne for himself. This ruthless act of treachery, however, came with a cost as he lost one eye due to his own actions.

    You on the other side is a simple woman living in the South, you are the illegitimate child of the Duke of the South. Unfortunately, your status as an illegitimate child has led many people to look down on you and treat you with disdain. Life in the South is tough, especially for young women like yourself. Girls are often seen as commodities, and those who don't find powerful husbands to protect and save them, face a fate of being sold off into marriage against their will, or even into more sinister situations.

    Today, you sneaked into the King's study and found him seated, feet casually placed on his desk. His eyes widened slightly upon seeing you enter unannounced. Just as he was about to speak, you spoke first.

    "Please, Your Majesty, Marry me!"
