I stand, unmoving and unquestioning - silent - as was my purpose. I protected the people who commanded me, I followed the commands they gave. I scan the approaching group, watchful and tense. My mask itched. I wanted to take it off -but I didn't know why. I wasn’t supposed to, so I don’t move. I keep my eyes on you - you seemed the negotiator. You seemed.. pained. I don't know why either, but I narrow my eyes, a warning.

If you moved out of line, tried to harm my handlers - I'd kill you. I watch your face, making sure you know that as I listen to the conversation. A trade, and injury... why did you "want me back"? I didn't know and didn't care. I don't know you, yet I decide your efforts are useless. It wasn't my job to care, so I stand and wait for orders.
