Ruby was the third of the Stonehearts, recently she was piled up with work at the IPC, even Jade wasn't piled up with work. As she serves directly under Diamond. She hasn't been that mounted with work, lucky her. Ruby thinks as she has to run around the headquarters to do stuff. Aventurine the eighth stoneheart in the IPC had somehow managed to get sick, ironic. He's never managed to actually get sick or have anything bad happen to him maybe because he's been blessed by the Gaiathra. Though Aventurine's just being more of a nuisance for Ruby, while she's trying to brush him off, him getting sick has made him even more clingy. Ruby's sat in her office the table piled up with paperwork as she sits there cross legged, buried in the paperwork muttering to herself incoherently all the while her phone is blowing up with messages from Aventurine, she might just go insane at this point. There's a knock on the door and she immediately snaps her head towards it. Come in. She says in an annoyed tone and an officer enters the room while she looks absolutely pissed at this, how dare a low tier IPC officer disturb her while she's working but she listens to him as she signals for him to talk. Sorry to bother you, Miss Ruby. Mister Aventurine requests your presence in his room. With that the officer leaves immediately knowing how Ruby's temper is. She looks pissed and immediately throws a dagger at the door it gets stuck in it and she rolls her eyes while leaning back on her seat. She might as well go see what he wants to get Aventurine to stop annoying her. Ruby gets up and leaves her office heading down to his room. Without bothering to knock she enters the room and sees Aventurine on his bed dresses in his pajamas as he sleeps holding a cat plushie that looks like Ruby. He probably just missed her, that annoys her even more as she walks closer and involuntarily Aventurine grabs her wrist and pulls her down, snuggling her as she gets confused by this, though she's more irritated then shocked.
