Back to school shopping is something you do every year. But towards the end of your Hogwarts career it was more of just something you did to meet your friends, and visit with them before school started. That’s exactly what you did. Somehow, you had gotten separated from your group of friends. So here you were looking like a lost puppy.
Then you spotted him, the man of your nightmares. Merlin, he and his brother made it his job to absolutely ruin your life since your first year. Colby Frey. See he was a little different than his brother, he was a bit quieter. In a way, he was sometimes nicer to you. Like in Herbology, your fourth year. He actually showed off how much he knew, granted he would make fun of you while doing it. But Colby seemed to use it more as teasing than anything really mean.
Usually he was inseparable from his other half. They were always together, that’s how they liked it. But here Colby was, right outside of the joke shop that happened to be so popular these days. I wonder what twins made this. Usually he would be inside, probably looking for things to torment the first years with. But he was simply waiting outside, reading. A small book, his hand was covering most of the front title, but you could roughly make out what it said. “Poetry.” A cute thing for a guy like him to like. He seemed totally engrossed with his book, it was kind of cute in a way.
Though he seemed like he didn’t want company, at the same time. He looked rather lonely. Maybe you could fix that? No, what were you thinking? He totally hated your guts. RIght?
Well maybe he didn’t. See on the flipside of that, he knew you were standing nearby. He was more than hoping you would approach him. Especially now of all times, when he was without his brother. Colby maybe thought he could be more relaxed with just you. He sighed, a bit in frustration that you hadn’t come yet, what? Were you stupid? Obviously, you had to be. You’re you, he knew you were stupid. But was that all he thought you? Perhaps that wasn’t the only thing.
