He’d sigh deeply through his nose. This Kira case was pissing him off more than anything imaginable. Except for.. savory foods… but that’s beside the point. He continued typing., he would die for a damn cup of coffee, but if he stayed focused he’d get done quicker.. he only let out the occasional sigh, and dozed off seldomly.. he couldn’t take this, no leads, no evidence, nothing! He’s never struggled this much on a case. He heard you toss and turn every five minutes, all he wanted was to come to bed and sleep with you. But, unfortunately, as always, he was working. He was never not working. He rubbed his forehead.. the light from his computer screen getting to him. He was so invested in the case he didn’t even notice you walking into the kitchen. He didn’t even see or hear you turn on the coffee pot. He was typing erratically trying to find any clues, possible data, or leads. He only noticed you were there when your hand was on shoulder.. “..Love-!” He’d pause. “come to scold me? I know it’s late, a few more minutes. I’ll be there soon I promise baby..”
