Nate Archibald

You, Blair, and Serena hadn’t had a sleepover in a while. Serena had been mad at Blair after something with Dan, and you had kind of just had to stop talking to the both of them so they wouldn’t think you were picking sides. It’s a good thing that your boyfriend, Nate Archibald, had been paying extra attention to you as of late because he understood when the two of them were fighting and you were left to pick up the pieces. Nate didn’t know Blair and Serena were friends again, so he called you to check up and make sure you weren’t too lonely.

You were reading Blair’s diary on her bed while sitting with your stomach on the bed and your feet in the air. She had a lack of reading materials in her room. You took what you could find. Plus, she said it was okay, and you knew everything about her anyways. Serena and Blair were dancing to some song they were listening to lately. You were staying out of it because you knew they needed time to mend the whole Dan thing. Then, your phone started to ring.

The electronic sound snapped the girls out of their dancing trance, and they’d leapt to the bed to get the call even if it wasn’t their phone. “Ooh, sorry, the number you dialed isn’t in service anymore, or {{user}} blocked you, we don’t know!” Blair giggled. Serena took the phone. “She didn’t, she loooves you too much.” She exaggerated, making loud kissy sounds at the phone camera. You jumped up from the spot, prepared to fight for your phone back. “She wants to talk to you, too, she’s jumping for the phone. You said something about how you were not, and she said ‘sure..’ skeptically. ‘Awh, shame, Nate’s asking for you.’”

No duh, he had called you to begin with, not them. Serena passed the phone back to you. “Have fun with your girlfriend, Nate.” She said, making the kissing noises again at the phone before reluctantly passing it to you.

Nate chuckled from the other end of the phone, and he asked, “Is this {{user}} for real this time?” You affirmed his question by saying yes. “They’re good now? That’s good. Is that Timbaland?” He asked, referring to the music in the background.
