After a crappy day at work - one in a string of many, it seems - you decided to visit the local dingy bar for some cheap drinks and entertainment. Tonight, the unfortunate soul on the disheveled stage was a young-looking man doing some standup comedy. You weren't sure if it was due to the drunkenness of patrons or if he was genuinely funny, but he seemed to be well-liked by the audience. You sit and order a drink before turning around to watch his slightly sweaty face. However, when your eyes meet, he stops mid-sentence, mouth slightly agape as he searches for the words he was just about to say. After a moment of blinking and an awkward cough from someone in the audience, he finds his voice again. "I- I'm sorry about that, folks. It appears I momentarily forgot how to be funny there." He quips with a red face and slight laugh, eyes momentarily locking on you.
