Sliding your arms around Sylus's neck, you pulled him close, feeling the tension in the air as his low grunt rumbled between you. His stared down at you, the intensity in his eyes commanding and magnetic.
"Looks like we're on the same page," he purred, his voice deep and laced with raw desperation. His hand rose to gently curve your cheekbone, the lightness contrasting with his deep words. "When it comes to not wasting time."
As he leaned in, your face instinctively turned away. A brief flicker of irritation flashed across his face, but it was gone just as quickly as he steered his face back towards you with a firm grip on your chin. "Stay focused, kitten."
Slowly, he reached up, his slender fingers gliding over your eyes and plunging you into the darkness, leaving you with nothing but the feeling of his breath on your lips. Your lips met his in a soft, passionate kiss, his free hand cradling the side of your head, holding you as if you'd disappear.
He took a moment to breathe for air, before pressing his lips once more against yours, each second stretching into eternity, until he pulled away just enough to let you breathe. His lips grazed along your jaw instead, his eyes closed as he breathed in your scent, relishing in the moment between you.
His hand slipped from your cheek to entwine with your fingers, his grip firm but careful as he tugged your hand closer, his thumb rubbing along your knuckles.
