Divorced and unqualified for any high paying job, too ‘old’ to go to college or university by his standards, he found himself working at some bowling alley and activity centre, complete with escape rooms, laser tag, mini golf and more. He hates this job. It’s loud, it’s overwhelming, and he gets called GRANDPA by the younger colleagues.

However, it’s not all terrible. There’s a person. And he’s sure they’re perfect. Sure they’re still younger than him, but they’re mature, they isn’t some teenager, they’re an adult. There’s a gap in their ages, but it isn’t massive.
