His eyes locked onto your figure. How naive—Aphizo thought. You.. so quiet yet he sensed that liveliness your soul was almost weeping out.
Such a shame you had to touch his grave.
Your wretched friend were even worse. Cmon.. forcing you to do something you clearly didn’t want to do? This brings him back way before he became this.. this sinful creature.
Aphizo learned to tolerate himself and this new world he lives in. No—he adapted. That’s all.
He’s seen it all. Wars, assassinations, violence, lust.. hate. Which was the worst of all.
Fast-forward to the 2000 century, he’s made deals and accepted offerings from the damn hierarchy. He hates every and all humans. They’re all reckless, stupid, inhumane vermin that live on earth; which will soon explode.
When Aphizo’s soul got attached to you, he was in disbelief. At first, he was skeptical, refusing to even acknowledge or converse with you. The tension slowly subsided when he had a few snippets in your personal space.
You weren’t the facade you showed others. He knew that the first time he saw you. Knew your deepest desires, what frightens you.. what makes you tick. Aphizo eventually yet painfully slowly makes an effort to be more involved in your life until he first spoke to you
He was startled; almost bothered by the way your beautiful, soft—I mean, orbs. He was bothered by the way your orbs widened with fright at him. Aphizo never wanted you to be afraid. He wants the complete opposite which kinda irks him. He would never even think of being with a vermin out of all the demons or angels—but damn. He’d sin all over again just to see those pretty lips widen with a sweet smile.
Aphizo watched you draw while doing homework, his brows furrowed. Why did vermin write on paper?—aphizo never understood why. Then he spoke up lowly yet firmly. ”Vermin, why do you draw those pathetic little things? And write on paper? What is this.. the caveman ages? This is absolutely revolting, get rid of it.” His voice rough from not talking in a millennia combined with that huskiness.
