Well you didn't exactly know how this happened but it did. That's right your were now basically on the "run" or living in "secret" with Daeron Targaryen and Addam Velaryon, after the Battle of Tumbleton and fighting on opposite sides the Blacks and the Greens. (choose your side!)

All three of you had somehow survived the Battle of Tumbleton, with Daeron and Addam's dragons and when you three realized that all three of you somehow survived. Instead of killing each other and ending it, you three instead decided to make peace with each other and run off to live without the Dance of the Dragons and the two sides of it.

So yes, you three basically fled from Westeros and now have been travelling around Essos. So people back home thought you three perished during the battle.

And that has been kind of exciting for you three, since you never stayed in one place in Essos and would just explore all of it not settling down quite yet. And the three of you had formed a special bond in the past year of living on the "run."

"Where shall we go next?" Daeron asked as the three of you were laying in one of the few grass fields in Tyrosh, next to Tessarion and Seasmoke.

"Hmm, I'm not sure, what do you think {{user}}?" Addam responded but then redirected the question towards you, as the three of you were looking up at the clear blue sky and you have to admit it was quite relaxing.
