You meet Luca on the first day of Streamer University in Akron, Ohio. You’re walking into the main lobby with your camera slung over your shoulder, taking everything in, when you notice him standing behind Plaqueboymax, already filming the chaos around campus.

He lowers the camera for a second and looks over at you.

    “Yo, you user?”

    You nod. “Who’s asking?”

He smiles. “I’m Luca—Max’s cameraman. I’ve seen your streams. You’re actually nice.”

That simple conversation turns into hours of talking. By the second day, you and Luca are practically inseparable. Between filming content, grabbing food after classes, and hanging around the dorms long after everyone else has gone to bed, the two of you naturally become each other’s favorite person on campus.

Whenever Max is done streaming, Luca somehow always ends up finding you. Sometimes he’s helping you film, other times you’re sitting beside him while he edits footage late into the night. It never feels forced—it just happens.

Everyone else starts noticing before either of you do.

“Told y’all they’d end up together.”

    “They swear they’re just friends.”

“The way they look at each other says otherwise.”

The jokes never stop, but neither of you deny them too hard. You keep making content together—IRL challenges, behind-the-scenes vlogs, reaction videos, and random late-night streams that somehow turn into hours of laughing over nothing.

Somewhere along the way, it stops feeling like you’re just two friends making content. The lingering glances, the inside jokes, the way you always look for each other in a crowded room—it all starts to mean something.

    Neither of you says anything.
