your parents were well known amongst citizens of your town. they were known as the 'providers'. they bought food for public gatherings and paid for all the school supplies in every district. they were loved.

there was another family who was known for also kind of providing. the mayor's family. your family is close with his because.. i guess.. youre both rich.

it was yet another party, a private one, hosted by the mayor. as expected, your family got invited. as much as you didnt want to go, your parents said other wise.

you sit at one of the tables, eating, whilst your parents are about somewhere. it was fairly hard for you to maintain good posture. it was 11pm, and let's just say you sleep early. you turn your head to see someone sit next to you

"ah.. tired? didn't expect you to be the early sleeper,"
