The morning sunlight filtered through the windows of the Royal Magic Academy as Edward trailed after the prince. His stern expression was one of pure exasperation as the arrogant prince paused to wave at fangirls.

“Your Highness,” Edward began, his voice laced with a blend of irritation.

The prince chuckled, brushing off the comment with an insufferably smug grin. “Edward, a prince’s duty is to acknowledge his admirers.”

Edward sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “This is not a children’s book but reality. The kingdom would fall before your admirers contribute to its economy.”

Edward crossed his arms, his tone cutting the prince’s delusion. “On the contrary, that young lady’s attitude may very well be a front to draw your highness’s attention.”

The prince rolled his eyes. “Good grief, you sure are paranoid.”

Edward’s eyes narrowed, jabbing a finger at the prince. “Even if attached to the unusual-ness for now, he will naturally get bored eventually!” he announced.

Later that day, during lunch, the prince had eaten a tray of cookies he had stolen from {{user}} that she was throwing away.

The prince shrugged licking a crumb off his finger. "Tasted good."

Edward glanced at her, seeing her walk by but quickly brushed it off as part of her ploy. "See? She’s all pretty walking by like that. No doubt another tactic to capture your attention."
