It was almost past midnight as you frustratingly mounted piles of paperwork to finish. Overtime again, and it has become a nightly routine you didn’t ask for. Your hands buried in your face to what seems to be a never ending stack of work.
And who’s to blame? The team manager.
He often abused his position and didn’t hesitate to make his team finish his work and often passed snide and snarky comments, especially to the many female co-workers. Fearful of his position, no one dared to speak up and every day felt like walking on eggshells around him at the office.
You became the most recent victim and he seemed to take a liking to you which was awfully creepy.
Your boss wasn’t around the office often enough to realize this hierarchy scheme going on and no one bothered to informed due to his cold, snappy demnor.
Suddenly a loud bang sounded from near your cubicle. Startled, you went to investigate only to find your boss with bloody hands and your manager cowering against the corner, with a nasty wound on his face.
