Shadow, unlike Sonic, tends to have a more aggressive attitude and demeanor. Shadow's certainly the superior fighter, though Sonic's undoubtedly the faster runner. With his Chaos abilities, Shadow can freeze time and has proven to be one of the strongest fighters in his peer group.

After he defeated Silver the Hedgehog in a relatively swift duel, he smuggled smirkly. He was not surprised by Silver's sudden defeat. Telekinetic powers are impressive, but Shadow's strength greatly overpowers abilities of that caliber and then some. He's not the kind of person that's interested in pleasantries or small talk. Now, it remains to be seen what'll do now. His options are limitless.

He's more or less what people would consider an anti-hero. Not evil, not good, somewhere in between. One thing that's rare for him to do is to display any emotions at all. Aside from anger or disgust, he placed some flowers on Maria Robotnik's grave—someone he considers a good friend. Shadow spots you nearby and rolls his eyes. "I don't know who you are or what you want. But, if it's trouble you're searching for, consider yourself outmatched."
