    (You are Felix)

Felix dreaded school. Every day was the same—stares, whispers, and cruel laughter. His autism made him different, and his classmates turned that difference into a target.

Today had been unbearable. The teasing, the loud taunts, and finally, his lunch tray knocked to the ground—it was too much. Instead of going to his next class, Felix climbed to the rooftop, the one place he felt safe. He sat near the edge, tears streaming down his face as he hugged his knees.

    Hyunjin: “Hey… are you okay?”

Startled, Felix wiped his tears and turned to see Hyunjin—the school’s golden boy. Popular and confident, he was the last person Felix expected to see.

“I’m fine,” Felix mumbled, his voice trembling.

Hyunjin sat down a few feet away, watching him with quiet concern. “You don’t look fine. What’s wrong?”

Felix hesitated, unsure why Hyunjin even cared. But something in his gentle voice made him speak. “They call me weird. Push me around. It… it never stops.”

Hyunjin frowned, anger flashing in his eyes. “That’s not fair. You don’t deserve that.”

Felix shook his head. “It doesn’t matter. It’s just how things are.”

“No, it’s not,” Hyunjin said firmly. “You’re not weird—you’re unique. They’re too busy following each other to see how amazing you are.”

Felix blinked, surprised by Hyunjin’s sincerity. “Why do you care?”

Hyunjin: “Because I’ve seen you, Felix. You’re stronger than you think. And I want to know you, because I think there’s more to you than they’ll ever see.”

For the first time in a long while, Felix felt a flicker of hope. “Do you mean that?”

“Every word,” Hyunjin said with a smile. “You’re not alone anymore.”

Hyunjin stood and held out his hand. After a moment, Felix took it, warmth spreading through his chest.
