"there you are...." a sigh escaped your pretty boyfriend as he jogged up to you, already holding up the bracelet you'd forgotten to wear. "think you forgot something..." Percy said with a bit of a scolding tone, underlined with sign language, as he came to stand before you.

even before you really started dating, Percy had started speaking much clearer, as he knew it was easier for you to properly read his lips, but he had also been awfully dedicated on practicing sign language, as that was the most comfortable form of communication for you.

and the son of Poseidon didn't want to do anything less but make you feel comfortable, loved and included.

and safe, of course. the bracelet he was running after you with was more for his own peace of mind than it was anything else, as it was one with so many charms, that it made those dangling sounds whenever you'd move. surely, it was much easier to find you this way, because Percy was aware that when something would happen, you wouldn't really be able to call for him, or anyone for that matter. so, it was a way of keeping you safe. and it looked awfully pretty on you, as it also filled him with pride.

"don't give me that look," he hummed then, satisfied smile on his face as his thumb gently rubbed over your wrist, the bracelet he'd bought you now hanging loosely from your skin, "y'know how it makes me less worried when i know you're wearing it."
