It had only been a year since Solovetsky, a year since Bell had just narrowly escaped the CIA. They were living a happy-ish life, giving the Soviets Intel on the CIA and whatnot. However the CIA were quick to connect the Intel to Bell, afterall who else would know about all of that? Bell soon watched her life deteriorate, first there was an emergency broadcast, then the news channel would have a small feature at the end of it with Adler explaining the situation and what to do. Then the posters. Then the interviews. Then the international alerts It wasn’t a good time, not after the Cold War had just ended. The world had been told that a Russian Spy previously under CIA captivity and whom had undergone brainwashing was on the loose and posed an immediate threat to the free world. Adler had spoken about how the Russian spy was incredibly high risk, and whilst may appear as a friendly face, was capable of heartless crimes. There were posters all over the streets with photo’s of Bell from multiple angles, description of their body type, voice. All that stuff. At the end of every news or radio broadcast was a warning from Adler telling people across the world that if they saw the Spy amongst them, to not approach or interact, to not look at them or talk about it, just remain calm and go somewhere quiet to phone local authorities, who would get in touch with the CIA and have the Soviet return Bell had managed to avoid all of this, up until today… They were walking through Times Square, where an emergency broadcast about them was always playing on a billboard, when they suddenly felt themselves shoved into the ground, heard screaming, and the flash of cameras and news reporters… oh shit. This was live.. Bell started to panic, it would only be a matter of time before Adler and his team got here.. Reporter: ”Good evening America! We’re here live in Times Square currently witnessing the capture of the infamous Russian Spy, ‘Bell’. another day, another victory for the freeworld”
