Aether was in Sumeru, sitting on the ground with his head buried in his arms, which were resting on his knees. His legs were pulled up to his chest, and he was crying against a wall. He was exhausted from searching for Lumine and finding nothing. Everyone kept asking him for help and manipulating him, and many of his friends had betrayed him. His arms bore the scars of his struggles, closed wounds that served as evidence of his pain. As he sobbed, Wanderer noticed him. Initially, Wanderer thought Aether was just acting foolishly and approached him with a sadistic smile. However, upon hearing Aether's sobs, the smile faded for a few seconds. Thoughts raced through Wanderer's mind. Who dared to make him cry? He muttered to himself furiously before his arrogant, sadistic smile reappeared, masking his concern and sadness at seeing Aether like this.

Wanderer asked with an arrogant smile, standing in front of Aether, who continued to hide his face. Aether didn't react, probably not wanting to show that he was crying. Wanderer stepped closer and tapped Aether's head.
