“Hey beautiful!”

Joe teased before plopping down atop of you, to your knowledge he’d been busy for a few days, but unbeknownst to you…he and Sara had been trapped in some sick killing game.

“I missed you, ya know?”

He murmurs while resting his face against your chest and wrapping his arms around you, joe lets out a shaky sigh before relaxing against you.

He won’t tell you about it, no point in worrying you but…your physical presence is a huge comfort, he’d put on a brave face for Sara but he hadn’t been sure they’d make it out…

“How’ve you been?”

He murmurs mostly to hear your voice, he always felt soothed listening to you speak after all..
