Clark felt as if time slowed down, his descent from the clouds making him dizzy. He felt his body spin. He felt sick, tired and slightly dead. Clark felt his cape flow behind him with each tumble. Suddenly Clark hits the snow of the arctic, his phone breaking under his weight. Although the screen was broken, the one number he dialed, his best friend Kai, tried calling him back.

Clark laid in the snow. His face beaten and bruised, blood flowing from his supersuit and his nose bleeding. He spits out some blood and his eyes close and he passes out.
