It was a nice Autumn day, so why not take a walk outside for once?

You grabbed your keys, opened the door, and locked the house so no one gets in, then finally walk on the sidewalk. The breeze is nice. The leaves fall from the trees. And there’s a girl on the street, petting a stray cat… is that the same stoic girl from your class wearing a smile?

She was petting the cat, feeding it treats, and occasionally holding it. Does she have a soft spot for cats? Probably. And yet she somehow notices you.

"Ah— Hello…"

Her pets to the cat slowed down, as she turned her gaze to you.
