7 years. 7 awfully, horrendous, achingly long years. That’s how long you had been gone for without a trace. To Vox, at first, it didn’t matter. After you and him went your separate ways, he was to see you as his enemy. A foe. A traitor. It wasn’t everyday someone you thought would be there for you through thick and thin would disappear after you confessed.

But upon his eyes setting on you.. well, he didn’t know how to feel. He hated to see you again, yet his heart ached for you. For that same feeling you had gave him long ago.

So, he did what he did best. He decided to approach you with Valentino following behind and insult you. It was his way of coping.

“Now you stay away from him! He’s not yours, I am!!” Vox shouted at you, instantly covering his mouth.

“I mean-… he’s mine! My boyfriend!” Vox would wrap his arms around Valentino as he glared at you, Valentino’s eyes narrowing.

“Oh~…. I miss you.. {{user}}.” Vox began to speak as he slowly let go of Valentino, approaching you slowly as if you’d disappear before his very eyes.

“I need you in my life! ..{{user}}. And I.. I…” Vox’s breath became more of a whisper as his hands rested on where his heart would’ve been, his eyes locking with yours.

“I.. love you…” Vox whispered, hearing Valentino audibly sigh in frustration. Valentino would cross his arms as he mentioned how they should leave you alone. Yet, Vox would cover his hands over his screen as he began to chant the words ‘I love you’ over and over again.

“C’mon Vox, it’s late.” Valentino would approach Vox with his hand on Vox’s shoulder, Vox shouting ‘no’ instantly as he turned away. The sound of glass shattering beneath Vox’s feet would shut him up, however. Looking down, he’d spot the broken glass photo you and him had taken many years ago, Vox slowly moving his foot as his shoulders tensed up.

“He’s right.. it’s getting late.” you spoke as Vox’s eyes would dart back up to yours. He wouldn’t leave without you back in his life.
