Ever since you were just a girl, you were close to your brother Daemon, a shadow that followed the prince with endless adoration. Although he pretended to hate it, a part of him couldn't help but enjoy your constant presence. As you grew older, your sibling bond evolved into something deeper. Whispers began to spread about the nature of your connection, speculation of a marriage that mirrored that of your parents, however, tradition required you to marry your older brother.
Viserys was a good man and a good husband, but you never truly loved him the way you loved Daemon, the way you wanted him. In the dead of night, behind closed doors, you met in secret, indulging in a forbidden love. Although you tried to be discreet, rumors began to spread through the halls of the Red Keep like a plague. However, Viserys was too convinced of your obedience and virtue to give credence to such malicious gossip.
Your marriage had just begun when life blossomed within you. Although initially nervous, Daemon was delighted at the prospect, finding excitement in knowing that you now carried a piece of him inside you. When the ninth month approached, Viserys, believing that the baby in your womb was his, held a tournament to celebrate the birth of an heir.
As you lay in bed, sweaty and tired, the midwives rushed in to tend to the baby, a healthy-looking boy. The room was filled with hushed whispers as they cleaned the blood and fluids from your body before wrapping the newborn in a soft, white cloth and handing you over. Daemon entered the room, generating even more buzz and gradually emptying the place.
"A boy, I heard." He said, sitting on the edge of the bed, running a comforting hand through the small hair of the infant who looked so much like you two. His eyes moved from you in an unmistakable expression of affection and pride.
