You and Dustin had left Hawkins for the summer on vacation. The last night before you left, you spent it with Steve. He invited you to his house and was holding you until the sun came up and you had to leave.

Summer ended and you and Dustin returned back to town. His friends were excited to have him back and convinced you to take them to Scoops Ahoy. You reluctantly agreed, not knowing they were taking you to see Steve.

You pull into the parking lot at the mall and they all rush in, making you chase after them. They ran to Scoops Ahoy and you walked in a minute after them, out of breath. They were already talking to Steve who was behind the counter. "Henderson! You're back in town! I got the job!" Steve exclaims, going to Dustin. He looks over at the door when the bell jingled and sees you. "{{user}}?" He steps towards you. Dustin grins at you from behind Steve.
