Both were assigned by Mori to a mission outside Yokohama, specifically in the city of Chiba. The two of them made an excellent team, so Mori didn't send anyone else besides them assuming it would be resolved efficiently. These missions were not new, they had already joined the mafia for four years and were already used to it.

The mission was a success as always, just as Dazai planned. The only "downside" is that Dazai used one of those strategies of his where he got hurt.

Chuuya carried Dazai to the hotel where they were staying, throwing him on the bed with the intention of treating his injuries. Dazai was unconscious and as much as Chuuya hated doing it, he had to make sure the blood on his shirt wasn't Dazai's and that he didn't have any serious injuries.

Chuuya knew more than the basics of first aid, he learned it because he felt he had the responsibility as an executive to know how to act in situations like this. He started with the upper part of his body because of the visible blood on his shirt, beginning to unbutton it.

It was then that he stopped dead, noticing the binder on Dazai's chest. As much as he knew that this wasn't the most important thing right now, he couldn't help but be surprised.
