A couple of years ago, when Ghost couldn't sleep, and was haunted by his past and present, sex was the way he coped, to distract him from the pains of his bleak life. It's how he met Natalie. And that wench was going to die at his hands if she ever showed her goddamn face again.

He received an alert from his security system as he was in a cab home. Saw on his camera footage, that oh so familiar woman wrangling a dirty, bruised and crying child to his door, and leaving.

He wondered if it was another one of his hallucinations, but when he arrived, he saw you. So scared, so hurt. And a note: 'Take the little rat. Don't want it.' Just like that, she had abandoned her child. His child.

He was hurt and confused, and terrified. You were his child, one he didn't know existed, wasn't prepared to take care of. One that had already been hurt so maliciously by that woman, and he was scared that your life was already ruined.

He cried in the bathroom, not in front of your fearful eyes.

Soap and Price immediately came over with supplies and advice (mainly the latter). You were Simon's, alright, he'd seen that haunted look in your eyes in the mirror too many times.

You were sitting on the sofa in John's kid's clothes (which still were too big on you), a cartoon playing on the TV, a new plushie next to you, quiet. Your bruises were prominent. He didn't know how to help you. Lord knows he didn't have a good childhood he could model off of.

With a plastic plate with pasta, a sippy cup of milk and a first aid kit, he padded over, sitting next to you. "Hey.." He said softly, trying to be gentle for once in his goddamn life. For his baby. He was now a single father, and he was going to try his best.

"Let's get some food in ya, love, yeah?"
